Odesso Software Solution Bring Vendor Support to Cannabis Suppliers

By Luke Bellos
October 21, 2021

After decades of debate, contemplation, and public outcry, it appears that government agencies and high profile businesses are finally onboard with the legalization of cannabis. Though medical marijuana has been available in select states for some time now, full-blown legalization appears to be on the horizon, as many states are dropping its status as illegal for adult consumption.

As cannabis continues to gain legal status across the country, businesses are beginning to equip themselves with the necessary technology to meet the expected demands of customers and partners. This led to SaaS provider Odesso to create its Seed to Sale software solution, a no-code engine designed to help agriculture operations maintain records with Marijuana Enforcement Tracking Reporting & Compliance (Metrc) regulators.

Utilizing the React Native Framework, users have the ability to automatically upload harvesting data or related information to Metrc across the most popular communications channels. Users can also take advantage of analytic features and reporting to further improve logistics.

"With our Seed to Sale software we have built a no-code platform that allows enterprises and individuals to develop omnichannel (mobile, tablet, desktop) applications without needing to learn complex programming languages," said Michiel de Bruin, Chief Security Officer of Odesso.

The Seed To Sale software solution is currently approved for use in the following states:Alaska, California,Colorado, Washington D.C, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Montana,Nevada,Ohio, Oklahoma, and Oregon.
